Even as I sat in the background on the men’s team, this retreat really gave me a greater understanding and respect of how SFMI helps these women. This is truly an inspiration, and I can’t wait til the next time I am able to serve. Thank you!

Every time I come for a retreat weekend, God takes me into a deeper level of surrender. He uses this for purification in my life to strip away the areas of ego, self-centeredness, sin. I learn not to judge others and to receive God’s forgiveness in my life. He restores me from bad choices and decisions in the past. I feel nurtured and loved and encouraged when I leave here. Praise God!

I really enjoy being a team member. I get blessed probably more than they do. I know I have grown by serving & sitting under such great teaching & being with sold out women. There is so much love to get & receive & hopefully the attendees have witnessed Jesus in me. This retreat about perseverance & going through trials has really ministered to me, especially the story about the caterpillar becoming a butterfly& why we as believers go through & why God lets us go through them.
